Timber Fences

New Home, Old Garden

Our customer in Spixworth had recently moved into their property and inherited an old and unkempt garden from the previous owner. The existing fence at the rear boundary of the house was in disrepair and struggling to remain vertical against the neighbour’s overgrown hedging.

Make Way for the New

We cut down and removed the existing hedging in the back garden, using a small digger to remove the roots to prevent regrowth and provide an even ground. To the front of the property we removed old fencing and gates to make way for the new, taking away and disposing of all waste as part of our complete service.

A Sturdy New Fence

We installed a 1.8 metre high close board fence, made of pressure-treated timber, which will look great for years to come with minimal maintenance. We used concrete foundations and posts to keep the new fence sturdy against the neighbour’s hedges, preventing the fence panels from becoming damaged in future. The garden is fairly large and the fence will feel the brunt of strong winds, so this strong concrete base will ensure that the panels don’t succumb to the same fate as their predecessors!
