Ongoing Project with Barratt Homes in Watton

Posted on 29/03/2018

We’re currently working with Barratt Homes on the new Knights Park development in the Norfolk town of Watton. Around 130 homes are being built in total, for which we’re providing fencing for gardens and boundaries. We’ve been working for approximately 10 months on the project, visiting periodically as the build continues, and expect the development to be finished in 18 months.

900mm high gravel board retaining fence

The development features a range of housing styles, each with different size and shaped gardens. Our bespoke fencing means that we’re building fencing that perfectly fits the needs of each plot, never using ‘off the shelf’ panels or compromising on quality.

Fencing around the uneven grounds

This garden for example shows a specialist bit of fencing, with a 900mm high retaining fence of gravel boards to compensate for the disparity between ground levels either side of the fence. Rather than the homes having dramatically sloped gardens, a stepped surface is levelled and retaining fences put in place to provide more even grounds for the future homeowners.

Concrete post closeboard fencing in Watton

Close board fencing with concrete posts is a popular choice for back gardens, a style boasting strength, durability and good looks to boot. Concrete fence posts require very little maintenance and can last for decades, their strong foundations providing a robust fence that can withstand all that the British weather can throw at it.

We use pressure-treated timber and make everything to measure, providing exactly what is needed without compromise, to budget and with a fifteen-year guarantee. For homeowners or house builders, we provide all your garden construction needs. Get in touch for a free quote on 07947 366551 or email info@npfencing.co.uk
